S1:E4 Talent Tales – The Talent Shares Stories of Empathy in Corporate

Empathy is one of the most underrated skills in management. Those who master it early are almost guaranteed to get into leadership positions. In episode 4 of Talent Tales Season 1, the talent shares moments where they showed empathy in corporate. This just might inspire you to show a little care. This is what they had to share:

One of my colleagues was going through a difficult time in her life. She was struggling mentally, emotionally and physically. To ease her pain I offered take over all her tasks and motivated for her to get 1 month of wellness. I had to provide certainty to the team, HR and management that her tasks will be completed on time and on schedule. I had to work overtime for a month just to make sure that I keep to my promise and let her heal without worrying about work.

Throughout my career, I’ve consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, managing administrative tasks, and adapting to new environments with empathy and compassion. I’ve successfully completed internship programs at a school and a hospital, broadening my administrative skills and expanding my professional network while making a positive impact on the lives of those I interacted with.

I used to listen to old mature people when they visited our dealership. They’d talk about difficulties of life as you grow old and the struggle they face. I would assist them and lend an ear to listen, offer offer advise here and there.
